Casting Call - Captured by Crystal

These are the people I would choose for the major roles in Captured by Crystal. This is only for fun, but if any of the actors see this page and want to push for a movie option, please feel free to contact me.

Gavin Kleirhausen	Jude Law Jude would be one of my first choices. The setting for Captured by Crystal is modeled after Victorian London, so why not have an English actor play him?
	Matt Damon Matt Damon has long been one of my favorite actors. My favorite movies of his are Good Will Hunting, Rounders, and the Bourne trilogy.
	Orlando Bloom I had to pick one more English actor for the role of Gavin. I think Orlando would be a great choice.
Ulberto Kovhani	Antonio Banderas Ulberto’s character has sort of an Italian feel to it, but I think Antonio would do well with the role. He’s meant to be a good looking, powerful, and cruel man, and Antonio definitely fits the bill.
Viji Pradholi	Monica Bellucci Viji is a seductress, and I think Monica has shown with her work on Matrix: Revolutions that she’s more than up to the task.
	Sophia Milos I first came across Sophia with her work on The Sopranos, when she played Annalisa Zucca, the Italian mob boss. I also met her in Los Angeles when I won the Writers of the Future award in 2004. I think she’d do a great job with Viji.
Wendolyn Orden	Jessica Biel Wendolyn starts the story off in sort of a reserved role, but as the novel continues, she takes more and more control of her own destiny, and I think Jessica would do well with that sort of role.
	Kate Winslet I’ve really enjoyed watching Kate blossom as an actress over the years. I first saw her in Titanic, and I’ve really enjoyed her roles ever since.
Vanden Kyhrtali	Billy Boyd I really enjoyed Billy’s work in The Lord of the Rings. I can’t say that I’ve seen him in much since, but I think he would do well with the tortured soul of Gavin’s best friend, Vanden.
Dr. Stephen Threravano	Christopher Plummer Plummer’s acting prowess goes without saying. I think he’d be a great choice to pull off the regretful Dr. Theravano.
Sylvia Kleirhausen	Maggie Smith Sylvia is a very strict character, and it would take a lot of depth to play her right. I think Maggie Smith is one of the most talented actresses out there. She’d do justice to the role of Sylvia.
Feridani Kleirhausen	Nathan Fillion I loved his role in Firefly and Serenity, and I think he fills the bill for the staid role of Gavin’s brother, Feridani.
Judas	Brendan Gleeson The role of Judas needs someone to play a real heartless hero. He’s on Gavin’s side for the most part, but Judas is a man that takes no prisoners. I think Brendan could play him quite well, though I did picture Judas as a bit older. The wonders of makeup will take care of that, methinks.
