Steampunk vs. Aliens Goodness!

Steampunk vs. Aliens, the debut anthology from Zombies Need Brains, is getting closer. This started as a Kickstarter last year. It looks to be a very fun project with some great authors contributing stories. I may be a bit biased (the author is a friend) but I’m really looking forward to Ian Tregillis’s story. Also S.C. Butler’s and Seanan McGuire’s stories. All in all it looks to be a real fun project.

My contribution is called “Quinta Essentia.” It’s a story about a man who feels betrayed—by others and by his own body—who finds a way to deal with it during an alien invasion of massive, stalk-like “haulms”. Everything changes, though, when he realizes the haulms were only the beginning…

Oh, and by the way, ZNB has a new store! You can peruse it here: https://squareup.com/market/zombies-need-brains-llc.
