I’m looking for a few good readers. Interested?

Interested in an early read of The Flames of Shadam Khoreh? Then step inside. I may just have a deal for you.

I have a new project I’m starting up for the promotion of Flames (and really, the whole Lays of Anuskaya Series). I’m looking for a few tech-savvy fans of the series to read the third book early and to then tape video of themselves talking about their impressions of the series and the book.

What would you need on your end? Well, first and foremost, I’d want you to have read the first two books already and be eager to read the third. Assuming that fits your description, I’d also need you to be able to tape a short video (in 720p or higher) and send it to me. We’ll work out the details of how to send it. Just know that you’d have to be prepared to tape it and send it my way. But these days, that’s relatively easy. A video camera, a laptop cam, a phone camera, any of those will do. I just want decent video and sound quality so I can actually use it in the end.

I’ll come up with a short list of questions and topics I’d like you to cover—things like your thoughts on the series as a whole, how would you describe the books to a friend, your thoughts on how the series ended—but the words would be your own.

What’s the timeline? I’d need Flames read and the videos returned by early-April (the earlier the better).

So if you’re a fan of the series and think you’d like to do this with me, please let me know. If you have my email or we’re friends on FB or Twitter, ping me there, or you can always use my Contact Page. Let me know a little bit about yourself and your thoughts on Books 1 and 2. I can’t promise that everyone interested will get a chance to do it. I probably only need about 5-10 volunteers, but please get a hold of me if you are. I’m very eager to find enthusiastic fans of the series.

Many thanks from your humble author.

If I can get my camera to take video…(I have never tried!)
