In which Greg and I discuss writing based on The Book of Cthulhu

Now live on Speculate is our 29th episode (wow, 29 episodes already!), where Greg and I hash over writing technique based on our read of Night Shade’s recent The Book of Cthulhu anthology.

This was a fun episode to tape, as Greg and I got to digest not just the stories that we read, but the sage words of Ross Lockhart, the editor, and Laird Barron and John Hornor Jacobs, two of the contributors to this fine anthology. Head on over and give it a listen, and don’t forget, we’re syndicated on iTunes, so you can easily catch us there as well.

Also, if you’re a cosmic horror fan, do check out our previous episode, Episode 28, our interview with Laird and John. That was a very insightful interview with these two guys, and it was fun to “compare notes” in a way, between someone like Laird, who’s been around the block a time or two in the publishing world, and John, who’s a relative newcomer. They both have some interesting projects coming, up, so keep an eye out.
