Wow, very nice book trailer. Really appears to set a tone for the book. This is just making me more excited to read it!
Thanks, Louis! It helped to have some great artwork from the cover, and I stumbled across the background music on a royalty-free music site. It turned out to have perfect timing and matched the mood of what I was trying to get across in the book and the trailer. Serendipity, I guess.
Awesome!
Thanks, Kameron! Your feedback really helped a lot!
Brad, Awesome trailer, gave me a chill. The highlight is the way you used existing paintings; they match up so perfectly with your characters that it was as if you had called back these great artists from heaven or hell to be your personal illustrators. It really adds to the experience of reading the novel — more than a movie would, in fact.
Thanks, Russ! I agree. The art (including Adam’s wonderful cover) really worked well together. I have no idea what I’ll do when Book 2 rolls around, but I’ll worry about that then!
Very clever use of some great artwork! The cover really is lovely, too. Good luck with the launch@ (April Fool's Day?)
April fools, exactly. That’s the day Night Shade sends me a singing telegram telling me it was all a big hoax.
Woohoo!!! How exciting!
Great job, Brad–this is one of the best book trailers I've ever seen (including the live-action ones)!
Thanks, Robert. I’m glad you liked it!
Yay!! Love what you did with it!
Thanks, Jenn! And thanks for your help, too!
I'd read the book. You know, if I weren't going to already.
