The collaboration has been interesting. You really have to remain open, much more so than on simple feedback for one of your own stories, because it's, well, not *just* your story. It's someone else's too. Luckily our styles and vision for this particular story have aligned well. Or maybe that was just us being open to one another's ideas. I'm optimistic about Google docs despite the issues. I'd love to see it take on more of the Word-style capabilities. It'd make collaborations a breeze. It's already helped with this project, though I've lost some time just wrestling with the software. As we do with these things, it'll get better, but we'll still find something to bitch about.
