Thanks, Sarah. The collaboration has been interesting. You really have to remain open, much more so than on simple feedback for one of your own stories, because it's, well, not *just* your story. It's someone else's too. Luckily our styles and vision for this particular story have aligned well. Or maybe that was just us being open to one another's ideas. Whatever the reason, it's gone more smoothly than I anticipated.

I don't know about "lots" of good writing, but certainly some. Doing well. I'm starting off the new year optimistically, anyway. Hopefully your projects are coming along as well.

Hey, Bill, thanks. I'm optimistic about Google docs despite the issues. I'd love to see it take on more of the Word-style capabilities. It'd make collaborations a breeze. It's already helped with this project, though I've lost some time just wrestling with the software. As we do with these things, it'll get better, but we'll still find something to bitch about.

Yeah, me too! Heh. If you're interested in taking a look at the pre-release version to give feedback, just let me know. We're not too far away from that stage now.

The candle story sounds really cool. A fantasy and a mystery in one.
Good luck with the collaboration!

Outstanding, good to hear. I'm also a Skype fan, the Mrs. and I use it every evening to talk back and forth. Never tried Google docs. I see the issue you face, especially with a large-scale document. Hmmm. Have to give that one some thought. Good luck as always!
