I know, I just didn’t want to offend a friend by suggesting that the video was a less-than-subtle hack job joining the slushpile of "look how stupid Palin is" blogs and You Tube videos. I doubt such startling revelations are going to change anyone’s minds at this point - those who think she’s stupid will continue to think that, and those who think she isn’t will continue to hold to their beliefs as well. This is just ‘rubbing people’s noses in it’ and it galls slightly. I should not have said anything all, Brad, my sincere apologies. I won’t mind if you delete the entire thread, my bad.

Full disclosure: I’m a left-leaner this cycle and am fully pro-Obama.
I wouldn’t consider this a hack job. It contains one answer to a question that was delivered to both veep candidates, both of whom, I believe, knew that the other would be given the exact same questions. Now, I do agree that it’s embarrassing for her and McCain, but that is not due to the editing or the questioner or the question itself. Has politics become so diluted, our expectations set so low, that we don’t expect our Vice Presidents to be familiar with landmark law?
And rubbing people’s noses? Not in my view. This is just one example of the preparedness of a woman who was plucked from the vine early for political expediency by a campaign that was becoming desperate. Frankly, I think Palin, the McCain campaign, and to a large extent McCain himself (the real man has allowed himself to be carefully hidden over the last six months by his handlers), are an embarrassment to America.
Two candidates hold opposing views? Shocking!
ReplyOpposing views, yes, but the title was referring more to the command of the issues between the candidates.
